According to a previous research report by the World Health Organization, there are as many as 600 million myopic patients in China, and the myopia rate among adolescents ranks first in the world. Once adolescents develop high myopia, the risk of various eye diseases will increase, and they may even go blind.
In fact, among the effects of classroom lighting on children and adolescents' myopia and even their physical and mental health, there is a spectral band that is very important, and that is the red light spectrum. According to research projects conducted by Guangdong Cosio Lighting Co., Ltd. and Jinan University Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan Eye Hospital, Foshan Second People's Hospital and many other hospitals, the fullness of the red light spectrum directly affects the myopia of the human eye , mental health, immunity level, skin health or not. The importance of the red light spectrum can be seen from this.
Recently, the results of the three-year project Effect of artificial natural light on the development of myopia among primary school-age children in China: a three-year longitudinal study were officially announced: with the support of the Chancheng District Education Bureau, 1,840 students from 39 classes in 4 primary schools in Foshan City participated in this study. The classrooms of the control group used lighting from a world-renowned brand, and the classrooms of the intervention group used simulated healthy natural light sources with special health chips from Cosio Lighting. After nearly three years of follow-up research and comparison of nearly 1,840 students, the project concluded that the use of light health lamps that simulate natural light sources can reduce the three-year myopia incidence rate of children and adolescents by 5.2%.
The innovative light negative oxygen ions (LNOI) technology invented by Guangdong Cosio Lighting Co., Ltd. is an advanced technology that innovatively combines light element and negative ion element. It has four major functions: healthy light, air purification, sterilization and disinfection, and forest oxygen bar. It fully simulates the ecological environment of nature, is harmless to the human body, does not require people to avoid it, and can operate sustainably for a long time. The photo-negative ion technology comprehensively protects the four major health of young people.
First, protect child's vision.Light negative oxygen ions (LNOI) technology uses an advanced light formula to simulate sunlight at 8 o'clock in the morning, reduce harmful blue light spectrum in the spectrum, and increase beneficial red light spectrum in the spectrum. The light source CRI is above 95, the light is bright and soft, restores the true color of the book, and effectively prevents myopia.
Second, protect children's mental health. The Sleep Medicine Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University conducted clinical application of photo-negative ion technology and found that the R9 red light was as high as 95 or above. After the patients were exposed to phototherapy, their sleep latency and sleep quality were significantly improved, which fully reduced sleep disorders and depression.
Third, protect children's respiratory health. Light negative oxygen ions (LNOI) technology simulates the environment of forest oxygen bar, releasing high concentrations of negative oxygen ions, which can purify formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, hydrogen sulfide, smoke and so on in the air, kill bacteria and viruses, and protect children's respiratory health.
Fourth, protect children's health. Simulate the sunlight at 8 o'clock in the morning, the healthy light with a color rendering index of more than 95 and a high concentration of negative oxygen ions can enhance human immunity and ensure good health.
Up to now, Cosio Lighting has used light negative oxygen ions (LNOI) technology to upgraded more than 50 primary and middle schools and protect 100,000 young people’s health. In the current situation of high myopia rates among children and adolescents and serious mental health problems, in order to comprehensively protect the nearsightedness of young people, we should vigorously promote healthy lighting. We hope to use technology to let kids enjoy the healthy lighting.
