ICOMold is also capable of handling compression molding needs offering fast mold turnaround time at low costs. ICOMold has access to any commercially available material and can finish your parts to the required surface finish specifications. The experts at ICOMold also provide trouble-free part modifications to ensure your project is ready for production.

Custom Plastic Molding – The Complex Made Simple

The process of taking a part from concept to final product can be complex. The information available on the internet about custom plastic molding can be dry, long, or overly technical. And not without good reason, there is a lot that goes into injection molding. Designing a mold for a custom plastic part requires knowledge, experience, and a very precise kind of expertise. The potential problems can include failed parts, quality and safety issues, and cost overrun in both mold making and part production.

ICOMold by Fathom will guide you through every step of the custom plastic molding process. Decades of experience and expertise makes ICOMold the easy choice. ICOMold can produce extended parts runs on high-speed machines that will output quality, custom plastic products.

Plastic material selection is a crucial decision in the customer plastic molding process. The experts at ICOMold have years of experience to help you choose the right material for the project. Material choice will not only affect the performance of the final product but the price as well. Custom plastic manufacturing materials look and behave differently under differing circumstances. The experts at ICOMold are happy to help with these types of decisions, whether it’s the best material for the job or if a different material can be substituted to reduce project costs.
