It was learned from the National Energy Group that the second generation of direct coal liquefaction technology project independently developed by China and with independent intellectual property rights officially started in Hami, Xinjiang on the 8th, which is the most advanced and largest direct coal liquefaction project in China.
After the project is put into operation, it can produce 4 million tons of coal liquefaction products per year. Among them, the direct coal liquefaction production line is 3.2 million tons/year, and the indirect coal liquefaction production line is 800,000 tons/year.
Internationally, there are two ways of coal liquefaction, one is direct liquefaction, the other is indirect liquefaction. In 2008, the world's first million-ton coal direct liquefaction commercial chemical plant was built and put into operation in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, and China became the only country in the world to master the key technology of million-ton coal direct liquefaction. After the successful application of this technology in Ordos, through process optimization and equipment improvement, the first second-generation direct liquefaction technology in China has been formed, which will be applied in the construction of 4 million tons/year coal liquefaction project.
