The latest news of Sebei Gas Field of Qinghai Oilfield Branch of China National Petroleum Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Qinghai Sebei Gas Field"), as of 21:18 on the 1st, Qinghai Sebei gas field has produced 100 billion cubic meters of natural gas in total, providing support for natural gas supply in China's Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and Tibet provinces for 29 consecutive years.

Sebei Gas field of Qinghai Oilfield is located near Shinie Lake in the east of Qaidam Basin. It is a gas producing area with the highest altitude, toughest conditions and harshest environment in China. It was discovered in 1964 and put into trial exploitation in 1995.

Since the trial mining development, after 12 years of capacity construction, the cumulative production reached 10 billion cubic meters in 2007. In the following 17 years, we have gradually broken through the development bottleneck through technical process transformation, capacity technology adjustment, development process upgrading and automatic station construction. The gas field has maintained steady production of 5 billion cubic meters per year for 15 consecutive years, and continues to provide clean energy for 4 provinces, 9 cities and 6 counties.

According to the past years of insurance experience, the peak should be in December 2024 to February 2025. Gas release and production will be combined to ensure downstream gas supply capacity. In addition, the release of six newly put into production and nine new Wells can also ensure the civilian gas supply in winter.
