I feel like if you need one on a daily basis then the food that you are feeding your dog may not be the best choice for them,” says Kathy Baker, DVM, of Lucy’s Veterinary Care in Smyrna, Georgia. “I find many times if they don’t like their food, or seem to like it for a while and then decide they don’t like it repeatedly, it may be because they have sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients.”
