I bought this product to use in place of canned pumpkin purée. My pup doesn’t like the product, which is sad because he enjoys pumpkin purée. It’s extra disappointing at that because the product is quite pricey. I’ll go back to giving him purée, even if I do have to pre-portion and pre-freeze it to prevent waste.
Matilda had been using Firm Up (dried pumpkin) for some time, though, Chewy advised us it was out of stock so I had to research a new similar dried pumpkin option to keep my Matilda's #2 firm. This option came up with great reviews, so we tried it and it's working. Though, I only give her 1/4 tsp per meal as my dog is only 19 pounds (the scoop amount seemed like too much)...and anyways better to start with less. We will purchase this again!
Two visits to the vet for my puppy to deal with his loose stools and this Native Pet pumpkin powder solved the problem. The vet advised adding pumpkin to his diet and this did the trick. Now I'm stocking up on the pumpkin powder because this little guy needs this in his food every day.
I appreciate how easy it is to add this to my dog’s meal. Giving only 1 scoop twice per day for a 58 lbs foster dog that came from the shelter with diarrhea, in combination with appropriate food. Currently mixing with dry kibble before adding in wet food and a little water to make a gravy. Seems more effective for him than adding cooked sweet potato or rice. Easy clean-up and palatable. Will definitely send him to his adoptive home with a tub just in case!
This is exactly what I needed! Helped immediately with stools. Awesome that it is powder so it can be used as needed. Not like opening a whole can of puree and not being able to use it all. Will definately keep this on hand. Pup loves it so might just use it regularly.
I was initially nervous when trying this product with our dog as she has a sensitive stomach. However! We saw immediate improvement when introducing the pumpkin fiber into our pug’s diet. We’ve been using the product for about a month now and her potty issues have completely resolved. Really happy with this product!
This seems like a good product, but my dog loves pumpkin and wouldn’t even touch this. Our can will unfortunately go to waste. But I definitely recommend finding a sample size before you commit to buying a big can especially if your dog is picky.
This was recommended by my breeder to help with diarrhea. My pup loves it with a little water over his kibble.
My cats are not picky eaters. I only give this once a week per weight instructions. Really good for their skin and coat and digestion. Definitely reccomend
Wow does this product work. My miniature poodle puppy has had soft poops since I got him. With his fur I have to wipe his butt. I trim as good as I can but couldn’t get him into the groomers fast enough lol. I started using this what a difference night and day pooping quality. NO MORE WIPING. His poop is firm,consistent color and he loves the taste. Will be buying again when running low!!
